The fragments back together
They're only going to
Break again
So let them stay broken

That glitter in a billion 
Different splinters scattered
Across the universe's soul

The missing puzzle piece 
Will always be lost
No matter how long
Or how hard
You try to find it
It is not meant 
To ever be found 
It's meant to lead you
To the rushing underground spring
Beneath the mirage

So, look up and live
Step out of the maze
Of your mind for a while
Listen for the sound
Of nature's call
Revel in the color of life
That exists
Right under your nose

The thorns adorn
